Traffic

Okay this is very unsual, haven't got this kind of traffic for a long time, I mean visits (unique). I must have did something right with the blog, this week. It was so unsual, that I tried checking my google standing--- and to my surprise:

If you search for Live Performance, I would show up second, I'm back in the search engine again. My LJ was on top of the search before I left it. Wuhoo!

Intramuros Bitch!

It really depresses (is there such a word?!) me, it's not even my fault that the presentation failed because the instruction to me was--- create a template background. Define template.

A template is a file that serves as a starting point for a new document. When you open a template, it is pre-formatted in some way. For example, you might use template in Microsoft Word that is formatted as a business letter. The template would likely have a space for your name and address in the upper left corner, an area for the recipient's address a little below that on the left site, an area for the message body below that, and a spot for your signature at the bottom.

When you save a file created with a template, you are usually prompted to save a copy of the file, so that you don't save over the template. Templates can either come with a program or be created by the user. Most major programs support templates, so if you find yourself creating similar documents over and over again, it might be a good idea to save one of them as a template. Then you won't have to format your documents each time you want to make a new one. Just open the template and start from there.

That's template, and so I also searched in some samples in the program that I will use, it has content. I decided to ask again if there will be content that I would place in the template. The instruction to me was clear, that I create a background for the template. So, I created dumb templates, or I mean backgrounds and didn't even sleep to finish. The next day--- at the meeting I understood already that the client's instruction was to really create the whole template not just the background (so the dumb templates were trashed, a waste of one day because they didn't understand the client's instruction)--- and the deadline for the revision which was not actually revision--- the next day--- so again did not sleep to finish that. For me to create a .ppt presentation when 'was in college--- I spent weeks studying the content and what would be more compelling to do--- wordy or picture-y.

What's the trick in doing a great .ppt presentation--- preparation.

So, ofcourse the client was expecting something different--- without any sleep (just the three hours I asked them to give me) I can't produce something that needs the brain to function--- because all my brain cells are out, it's just instincts that are functioning--- like copy (pak) paste (pak), copy (pak) paste (pak).

Now, going to Intramuros--- such a bad experience for me--- will be hateful, because I will remember that, there was a time that I was being labeled "f*cked up incompetent" (not the words used but it felt like that, I am not even an employee, and was not treated like that by any of the clients before, because I don't allow them, but this one I can't do anything because it's not my client. I have to respect their relationship with the agency. If it was my client the hell with them--- supposed to really prepare also before giving projects--- but  it's the agency's fault to accept project that are impossibly executable, and out of their powers to do) --- and it was not infront of my face, goddammit.

Everybody hates doing ppt, why is that?

Imagine All the People

I don't know why, but this song always makes me cry. I was sang by a deaf choir in the last episode of Glee. It was heart wrecking. LOL

二嫂 ErSao Taiwan Galore

After the Badminton practice today, the group felt hungry and decided to go to Causeway (before that, Jim, me and Steve were already talking about food in Binondo and Banawe). Unfortunately, as always--- Causeway is as jam-packed as ever, no parking--- so lucky for Jim--- he was looking for authentic Taiwanese resto, that's why we landed here at 二嫂 ErSao, the best authentic Taiwanese Resto in town (or so they say). It has branches in J.Abad Santos, SM Sta.Mesa, and in Banawe and I think one in Binondo.

Jim the lucky one and an ErSao virgin! (like me*about the ErSao Virgin) Enjoying his Pearl Milk Tea! Look at him, I think he was kinda jumpy that we end up here. He really liked it. And here's the noodle dish recommended to him by the girl in the cashier.

Was all gone after some chat.
Steven also ordered one (Sorry Steve, LOL, blurred photo).

Steve is the Master Badminton Kid--- trained in Beijing for some months.

Here's mine, Taro Milk Tea--- not that bad, but Quickly 快可立 is better, and I also order Fried Dumplings. Okay here's the thing--- it's not what it looks like in the menu (bad advertising, I forgot what advertising crime they did, I guess it's the label thing that it misleads?!). It looks like a day old chick. Aww.

I did not enjoy the dumplings, it was not what I expected, --- the shell tasted like coal (it's like me who cooked it) --- sunog--- but i like that it's veggie filling and not the pork, but ofcourse nothing can beat the Tasty Dumplings of Binondo or the Gyoza of Yoshinoya!

But let's give them the benefit of the doubt, LOL, let's try other dish next time, maybe the steamed one?! LOL.

So, okay! Mr. Nice let's do this again next next next week?!

Mr. Nice with his friend, Mimi? Nikki? (Sorry I am so bad with names)
Update: Stephanie is her name.

Quest Diagnoctic at PAMET Exhibit

This is the booth that Mr. Francis commisioned the booth designer to make, it's simple and well lighted, but I think it would be better if the display, or the demo units are the ones showcased, maybe placed in a cylindrical volt-type in the middle of the booth area (so that people can just go around it, the desk for the AEs can be at the side) that can be locked after exhibit for security. Anyhow, LOL, the booth was still the best--- because of the give away--- who would have think that Havaianas was such a craze--- okay not Havaianas, but rubber slippers. Here are some of the people waiting in line and (let's stress this) didn't even budged to eat lunch, not even to pee--- surely we can say 'BLOCKBUSTER' event for Quest Diagnostic.

The exhibit is the biggest for all medical things--- I guess?! because PAMET is the head of the event and it includes the whole medical industry (nationwide) plus it's already in its 45th as an Annual Convention. The big names in medical industry were present like Merck, Johnson & Johnsons, Beckman and Roche to name a few.

For those who don't know, Quest Diagnostic is a supplier of medical equipments and other paraphernalia, mostly NIKON machines, like microscopes.

PAMET launched a new website: http://pametinc.org/

One PAMET officer did went to the booth, not to join the line, but to tell them to stop it for awhile--- all the people are present in the booth but not at the talk.

Diner

Okay, haven't tried eating here, yet. My shobe works here as a trainee. Here are some of her shots:

I think they are more on the comfort food, but my shobe said it's a bar, whatever their concept is.

For me, this one with the bread and all, will more likely be pleasing if they placed a better quality of bread, maybe a wheat one--- but not a tasty, that looks like Gardenia. Can you find a slice of bread like this in Oliver's?
